Taking Care of Our Community
We’ve built a team who believe in care; in caring for the people in our chairs as well as each other, and it’s something you feel the moment you walk into our office. We’re all passionate about dentistry and the work we do, and together, we create a comfortable experience for you and your family.

I’m proud to live and work in North Burnaby, and I couldn’t think of a better place to call home. Whether I am cycling up Burnaby Mountain, watching my kids play soccer at Confederation Park, or taking in one of our many festivals or outdoor summer concerts, I’m reminded on a daily basis of how fortunate I am to live in this great community. I’m blessed to share this with my wonderful wife, two sons and daughter.
I received my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Saskatchewan, and since graduating, I have been practicing in Burnaby for over 16 years. I am passionate about dentistry and am actively involved in the academic community. For over ten years, I have been a clinical instructor in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia, where I participate in teaching senior dental students.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry from the smallest fillings to complex reconstructions. My passion is implant and cosmetic dentistry. They are rapidly evolving disciplines and I owe it to my patients to provide them with the best possible care and treatment available. I am constantly refining my techniques by travelling to train alongside some of North America and Europe’s foremost dental implant surgeons. In 2017, I was awarded the honour of Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists in Vancouver, BC.
I enjoy spending the time to get to know my patients and their unique needs. My priority is to inform and educate my patients so they can make the best decisions to suit their individual situations.

Welcome to Kensington Square Dental! It has been a pleasure to live and work in Burnaby for the past eight years. A prairie girl at heart, I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. I received my Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo, majoring in Human Physiology. I continued my education at New York University where I received my Doctorate of Dental Surgery with Honours. I then practiced in rural Alberta for eight years before moving to the west coast.
I enjoy all aspects of dentistry. I attend many continuing education courses per year to stay abreast of the latest advances in dentistry, ensuring that my patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. My focus is on creating and maintaining beautiful, functional smiles. My goal is to provide high quality, personalized, conscientious care in a friendly, informative atmosphere. There is seldom one right answer in making treatment decisions and our patients should be well informed of all their options in choosing the right path for them.
Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love the outdoors and I try to get outside with my family as much as possible, enjoying the parks and beaches in the summer and hiking and skiing on the local mountains in the winter.

I was born in Shanghai and moved to Vancouver at a very young age. The adventurous side of me brought me to Ontario, where I did my Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedical Sciences at University of Waterloo, and subsequently my Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Toronto. I practiced for 5 years afterwards in Toronto and soaked in the urban lifestyle there before deciding to move back to BC. Now I am happy and proud to be back here serving the local community that I grew up in.
I enjoy meeting different arrays of people and helping them come up with a comprehensive dental treatment plan to meet their various concerns and situations. I always strive for the best when performing various treatments like fillings, crowns, root canals and extractions. What I love the most about my job is the reward of helping patients with their dental health, whether it is fixing their cavities, or getting them out of dental pain.
On my days outside the office, I enjoy exploring the city and trying out new adventurous activities with my family. My favourite activities include trying new recipes and watching a good movie.
