Dr. Ivan Jin, DMD
Dr. Ivan Jin has been practicing in Burnaby for the past 10 years. He is a graduate with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan where he received honours from the Academy of Operative Dentistry and the American Association of Endodontists for excellence in restorative dentistry and root canal therapy.
Dr. Jin is presently a part-time clinical instructor in the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of British Columbia, where he teaches endodontics (root canals) to senior dental students. He is constantly refining his dental skills and knowledge by attending numerous continuing education courses with some of the world's best dental educators including the renowned Kois Centre in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Jin's focus is in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and he enjoys providing exemplary service from the smallest fillings and whitening, to full mouth reconstruction and implants. Invisible braces or Invisalign have become popular with his patients wanting a straighter smile without conventional braces.
As a resident of North Burnaby, Dr. Jin is proud to be active in the community. He spends time working with local community support groups and volunteers at a dental clinic on the downtown eastside. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son, Nathan. He also enjoys, fishing, snowboarding, volleyball and hiking.

Dr. Grace Wong, DDS
Dr. Grace Wong is originally from Calgary Alberta. After completing her undergraduate studies in human physiology at the University of Waterloo, she graduated with honours from New York University in 2003. She then returned to private practice in Calgary for eight years before deciding to move to the west coast.
Dr. Wong enjoys all aspects of dentistry and provides dental care in a gentle, caring manner. She attends many continuing education courses per year to stay abreast of the many advances in dentistry, ensuring that her patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced dental care. She continues to train extensively at the renowned Kois Centre in Seattle Washington. Her focus is on creating and maintaining a beautiful smiles functionally and esthetically. Dr. Wong is also very passionate about children's dentistry and orthodontics, having received certification at the Progressive Orthodontics Seminars.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Wong enjoys spending time with her husband, son Nathan, and two Pomeranians. Since moving to Burnaby, Dr. Wong has taken full advantage of the west coast quality of life, enjoying the parks and beaches in the summer and hiking and skiing on the local mountains in the winter.

Wendy Macleod, Certified Dental Assistant, Treatment Coordinator
Wendy is originally from Nova Scotia and grew up in Coquitlam. She has been our lead CDA for over 5 years and graduated from Douglas College. Wendy works side-by-side with Drs. Jin and Wong to help your appointments go smoothly and comfortably. She truly enjoys her work and is always happy to assist with any questions you may have about your dental health. Outside of dentistry, Wendy enjoys attending concerts, running, bootcamp training and spending time with her family. Wendy is a seasoned traveller and has visited many countries across the globe.

Gabriela Szabo, Receptionist, Treatment Coordinator
Gabi is originally from Romania and speaks several languages. Her smiling voice is the first thing you'll hear when you phone or walk in the door. Gabi graduated with the highest standing from the Medical Reception program at Douglas College and has been working with Dr. Jin for over 10 years. Outside of work Gabi enjoys swimming, singing and spending time with her husband, daughter and her new puppy, Ozzy.

Larissa Bui, Dental Hygienist
Larissa grew up in Burnaby and has been working at Kensington Square dental for 10 years, initially as a receptionist and then as a dental hygienist for the past four years. Her dental passion has been geared towards developing a protocol for laser periodontal therapy that is currently being taught worldwide. On her days off she loves spending time with her friends and family. She is an avid outdoors woman, and kayaks, hikes, rollerblades, snowboards, and tandem cycles with her husband. Larissa loves to travel and she one day hopes to be a contestant on the TV show, Amazing Race.

Angie Syskakis, Dental Hygientist
Angie has been a dental hygienist for almost 20 years, presently working in both general and periodontal specialty practice. With her constant personal growth through ongoing education, and her heartfelt connection with her patients, Angie continues to strive for excellence when treating her patients. When not at work, her focus is her family, fitness and enjoying the outdoors.

Danielle Dufaut, CDA
Danielle grew up in the Lower Mainland and brings along with her over 7 years of experience in the dental field. She is a graduate of Vancouver Community College and holds diplomas in both Certified Dental Assisting and Dental Reception. Danielle strives to exceed patient expectations and ensures that patients are comfortable during their appointments. Outside of dentistry she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and two dogs, Cali and Thomas. She is passionate about fitness, traveling and attending live concerts.
